The Dorian Inn was a great place to stay on my first visit to Athens. I chose the location because it was close to most of our business meetings, and was not prepared for the amazing view that greeted me when I pulled the curtains and open the terrace window. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I was able to leave my bags under their observation before I checked in, and when I was ready to check out. The Doriann Inn is very close to shops, eating stops, and within walking distance (or 1 metro stop away) from all major tourist attractions. On the day I left, I had a wonderful coffee and chocolate cookie/fudge sweet on the top floor of the hotel, where there is a coffee bar. The thick steaming coffee and the sweet merged with the (almost 360) view of Athens rooftops and antiquity. I highly recommend this place.

I was very pleased with this hotel, it’s in a central location, just a few minutes walk from the Pantheon, historic city and Monastiraki Station. Room was comfortable and clean. The roof terrace has the most beautiful views of the Pantheon and surrounding city. Very helpful staff

We stayed there for three days and it was amazing first thing they have a roof top pool witch is really cool. The food at breakfast was amazing. So if you are looking for a hotel in Athens I would recommend this hotel. Its not that expensive to stay there.🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

I guess you get what you pay for. I went through a travel agency and we ended up here. The place was worn down with the exception of the restaurants. Very nice view but the rooftop restaurant’s food was just edible. They didn’t have washcloths, tissue, bathroom dood didn’t shut and the toilet was difficult to flush. This is what I get for being lazy and not booking everything myself.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in September and October 2024 as part of our Greek tour with Excoticca. It is a very tired hotel that has seen better days. The standard bathrooms are very small and the combination half bathtub/shower is slippery and difficult to get in and out of especially for senior citizens. The fixtures were loose on the wall. The towels looked dingy. The hall carpet had seen better days. As others mentioned, the elevators could not accommodate the number of guests, so often times it was hard to get our luggage up and down in a timely fashion for transfers to the ferry, trips to other areas within Greece, and the airport. The biggest problem, however, is the area in which the hotel is located. It is unsafe and unsavory area. Our first night walking back from Plaka to the hotel on the main street, a young man lunged forward at me making a loud noise. He was surrounded by a bunch of young gamines. Luckily for me, my husband had my purse, otherwise, I'm sure I would have been mugged. I was told at the rooftop cafe that a French woman had recently been robbed of her purse. The breakfast was pretty good, but the vegan options (canned beans), French fries, etc. could be improved. The rooftop cafe had a great view of the Acropolis at night. The food was good, but a bit expensive for what it was. On our last night, the power went out, so we were sitting in the dark for our takeout dinner.
